​Based in the Nation’s Capital, CNC Entertainment is a boxing promotional company that develops high energy and competitive boxing shows in Washington, DC, featuring the area’s top young talent. Every event prioritizes consumer engagement, entertainment and elite competition.


With decades of experience in marketing, media and public relations, the brain trust of CNC Entertainment conceptualizes and executes best-in-class professional boxing events that attract diverse audiences through our branded boxing series: Boxing in the Nation’s Capital.


In addition, we take on the responsibility of being a socially conscious company with the same urgency as we do in being the best boxing promoters in the business. CNC Entertainment is a community and youth advocate, who specializes in creating local goodwill in Washington, DC through grassroots community outreach and charitable tie-ins. While there are many causes and issues worth significant attention, CNC Entertainment prides itself on strongly supporting anti-bullying initiatives.


We work hard to leverage our boxing platform in a way that creates a heightened sense of awareness around a huge national problem that has a significant impact on self-esteem and self-worth, sometimes resulting in suicide and homicide.

chad clinton



founder and principal



Chad N. Clinton has made a significant and indelible mark in the world of business and the communications industry. As the founder and principal of CNC Entertainment, he is responsible for the company’s overarching direction and public facing image.


With over 20 years of experience as a journalist and communications professional, Clinton leads the strategic planning and execution of all marketing and public relations initiatives, with an eye toward enhancing the corporate and public interest in the CNC Entertainment brand.


Clinton actively oversees company and event publicity, media and talent relations, events, and corporate branding. He also supervises all corporate and business press outreach. In addition, Clinton manages the company’s marketing, creative advertising and digital media, including consumer marketing, promotions, and social media content creation.


Clinton earned a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University. He began his career as a producer with the George Michael Sports Machine at the NBC affiliate in Washington, DC before moving into journalism as a reporter with Dow Jones. After 10 years as a senior reporter and editor, Clinton transitioned into public relations and helped shape the communications department of two large non-profit organizations: the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the American Pharmacists Association.


​During a one-year sabbatical away from communications, Clinton oversaw an at-risk youth program designed to help young men and women of color in low income urban areas, who were facing various social, economic and other challenges in their schools and communities. As a result, Clinton has pledged to use CNC Entertainment to enhance social consciousness and encourage our future leaders to see the value of education and feel compelled to take ownership in uplifting their communities and each other.




daryl brown



director of operations



Daryl Brown serves as Director of Operations, CNC Entertainment LLC, reporting directly to CNC Entertainment founder and principal Chad N. Clinton.


As head of boxing promotions, Brown is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of all boxing operations, including developing and executing the overall strategy of CNC Entertainment’s branded boxing series: Boxing in the Nation’s Capital and managing the company's relationships with boxing managers, talent, and fellow promoters.


Brown, who was raised in the District of Columbia, has extensive experience in the boxing industry, with over 20 years working as an amateur and professional coach with legendary trainers, such as Adrian Davis, Barry Hunter, and Gary Russell Sr. He has also served as an advisor to professional boxers, including current heavyweight Danny Kelly.


As an active community volunteer, Brown mentors youth in low-income urban areas in the District of Columbia and teaches youth the sport of boxing at the Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing Center.



stephanie arrington



chief financial officer & director, community investment



Stephanie Arrington serves as the Chief Finance Officer and Director of Community Investment for CNC Entertainment LLC and reports to CNC Entertainment founder and principal Chad N. Clinton. She is responsible for all financial matters relating to CNC Entertainment, and oversees the Finance and Strategy areas for the company’s branded boxing series: Boxing in the Nation’s Capital; including budgeting, planning, forecasting and accounting.


Arrington also leads CNC Entertainment’s grassroots community outreach and philanthropic efforts. In this role, she provides strategic leadership throughout all aspects of the company’s community investment and corporate social responsibility initiatives. In addition, Arrington oversees efforts to leverage various assets, resources and platforms throughout CNC Entertainment to extend the reach and impact of philanthropic and community partnerships.


With over 20 years of accounting experience, Arrington, a native Washingtonian, joins CNC Entertainment after spending the last 11 years as Controller for the American Association of Poison Control Centers. She also owns a consulting firm that provides cloud-based accounting and business solutions for entrepreneurs and small businesses.


Arrington earned a B.A. in Accounting from George Washington University and is committed to bettering the lives of youth in her community. For the last five years, she has served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for “Together Helping Unite God’s Sons,” a youth mentoring and outreach organization. In addition, Arrington actively volunteers her time and resources to help young women of color in their efforts to pursue entrepreneurship opportunities.
